Basing on what the customer describe, the agent will use search the product catalogs using semantic searching to find suitable products. Semantic searching is much better than keyword searching, the results will be more relevant to what the customer is looking for.
This can be configurable through the agent's configuration panel. The agent may work with no memory of the customer preferences at all, or may be fed with recent chat messages to understand the context and the customer preferences.
